STRUCTURE FOR REINFORCING STEEL-PIPE COLUMN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for reinforcing a steel-pipe column, which eliminates a dangerous protrusion, protruding from the steel-pipe column, as much as possible, which is inexpensive by virtue of a simple configuration, and which is durable by virtue of proper weathering.SOLUTION: A structure for reinforcing a steel-pipe column 1, in which the periphery of an opening 20 is reinforced with an outer pipe 3, includes a steel-pipe column body 2 that has a lower part provided with the opening 20, and the outer pipe 3 that is fitted into the outside of the periphery of the opening 20 of the steel-pipe column body 2. An outer pipe opening 30 communicating with the opening 20 is formed on the periphery of the opening 20, in the outer pipe 3, and an upper end surface of the outer pipe 3 is formed as an inclined plane, the highest point of which is positioned immediately above the outer pipe opening 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
