PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ceramic honeycomb filter capable of forming a filled part uniformly without breaking a partition, making a recess by tearing an edge face part of a filling member, and generating cavity in a middle of a flow channel when forming the filled part with length of 50 mm or more from a flow channel aperture of a ceramic honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a ceramic honeycomb filter by inserting a tubular member from an aperture of a desired flow channel, arranging a tip part of the tubular member at a position of 50 mm to total length of the flow channel from the aperture of the flow channel, moving the tubular member at rate of V1:Q[(1-W/100)+(W/100)×(P/100)]/A
【課題】セラミックハニカム構造体の流路開口部から50mm以上の長さの充填部を形成時、隔壁を破損せずに、充填部材の端面部が引けて凹部になるずに、流路の途中に空洞部を生じず均一に充填部の形成ができるセラミックハニカムフィルタの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】所望の流路の開口部から管状部材を挿入し、管状部材の先端部を流路の開口部から50mm以上、流路全長以下の位置に配置し、管状部材を速度V1:Q[(1-W/100)+(W/100)×(P/100)]/A<V1<Q/A[Pは隔壁の気孔率(%)、Aは流路断面積(mm2)、Wは充填部材中の水分量(質量%)]で流路に沿って開口部方向に移動させ、充填部材スラリーを流路に注入し、開口部から10〜30mmで管状部材を速度V2:0.05V1≦V2<V1に変更して開口部まで移動させながら充填部材スラリーを注入して充填部を形成するセラックハニカムフィルタの製造方法。【選択図】図1
