PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger equipped with a stable flow path, and to provide a sanitary cleaning device.SOLUTION: The heat exchanger for heating water into hot water includes a columnar heating element having a hollow part for heating the water, a case covering the outer periphery of the heating element to form a first flow path for the water to be heated by the heating element between the outer peripheral face of the heating element and itself, and water restricting means provided in the hollow part of the heating element to form a second flow path for the water to be heated by the heating element between the inner peripheral face of the heating element and itself, the water restricting means partitioning the second flow path in a direction along the peripheral direction of the heating element in the axial view of the heating element to restrict the axial flow of the water in the second flow path, the water restricting means having an axial core part provided in the same direction as the axial direction of the heating element, and a protruded part protruded spirally along the outer peripheral face of the axial core part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】安定した流路を備えた熱交換器及び衛生洗浄装置を提供する。【解決手段】水を加熱して温水とする熱交換器であって、円柱状でかつ、中空部を有し、水を加熱する発熱体と、発熱体の外周を覆い、発熱体の外周面との間に、発熱体により加熱される水の第１の流路を形成するケースと、発熱体の中空部に設けられ、発熱体の内周面との間に、発熱体により加熱される水の第２の流路を形成する水規制手段であって、第２の流路を発熱体の軸方向視で、発熱体の周方向に沿う方向に仕切るとともに、第２の流路における軸方向の水の流れを規制する水規制手段と、を備え、水規制手段は、発熱体の軸方向と同一方向に設けられた軸芯部と、軸芯部の外周面に沿って螺旋状に突出するように設けられる突出部と、を有することを特徴とする熱交換器である。【選択図】図１
