PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user who has not previously been registered to use an automobile to use the automobile and to reliably reject use thereof by an occupant whose authentication cannot be obtained.SOLUTION: First authentication means uses authentication reference information stored in first storage means and first authentication information of a user who is outside an own vehicle before getting in and determines whether or not authentication of the user outside the vehicle is possible. Based on an authentication result by the first authentication means, opening/closing control of a door of the own vehicle is performed. When the user gets in the vehicle through the door which has been opened as a result of an authentication by the first authentication means, second authentication information of the user is acquired. A second authentication means determines whether or not authentication of the user is possible by using the acquired second authentication information of the user. When authentication by the second authentication means is completed, it is determined that use of the own vehicle is allowed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
【課題】予め自動車に利用登録をしていない利用者であっても自動車の利用が可能になり、また、認証が取れない乗車者の利用は、確実に排除することができる。【解決手段】第1の記憶手段に記憶されている認証参照用情報と、自車に乗車前の車外に居る利用者の第1の認証用情報とを用いて、車外に居る利用者の認証の可否を判断し、この第1の認証手段の認証結果に基づいて、自車のドアの開閉制御をする。第1の認証手段の認証の結果、開かれたドアを通じて乗車した利用者の第2の認証用情報を取得する。第2の認証手段は、取得した利用者の第2の認証用情報を用いて利用者の認証の可否を判断する。第2の認証手段で認証ができたときに、自車の利用を可能にすると決定する。【選択図】図14
