PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight crane device which is disposed while achieving space saving and can hang a heavy load regardless of the machine weight, and to provide a curtain wall installation method in which the crane device is used to efficiently conduct curtain wall installation work.SOLUTION: A crane device 10 includes: a base part 11 which may move on a floor structure part 21 of a building frame 20; and a crane boom 13 provided at the base part 11. The crane device 10 is provided with a holding part 33 which holds a position of the building frame 20 which is located above the floor structure part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
