VIBRATION ABSORPTION COLUMN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorption column capable of achieving satisfactory vibration absorption effect against both of short-term earthquake motion and long-period earthquake motion.SOLUTION: A vibration absorption column 1 is constituted of plural blocks 2 which are vertically piled up. The block 2 has a center concave 22 on an upper plane and a bottom projection 23 which is formed on the bottom below the center concave 22. On the bottom of the block 2, a center projection 32 which has a shape capable of accommodating the center concave 22 and a front-end concave 33 which has a shape capable of accommodating the bottom projection 23 at the front end of the center projection 32 are formed. Each of the plural blocks 2 is piled up in a state that the front end of the bottom projection 23 of the lower block 22 is brought into contact with the ceiling of the front-end concave 33 of the upper block 22, elastic members 3A and 3B are placed between the side face of the center concave 22 and the side face of the center projection 32. A gap is formed between the side face of the center projection 32 and the elastic members 3A and 3B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 短周期の地震動と長周期の地震動の両方に対して十分な震動吸収効果を達成できる震動吸収柱を提供する。【解決手段】 複数のブロック2を積層した震動吸収柱1であって、ブロック2の上面には、中央凹部22と、中央凹部22の底部に位置する底部突部23が形成され、ブロック2の下面には、中央凹部22に収容可能な形状の中央突部32と、中央突部32の先端に位置する底部突部23を収容可能な形状の先端凹部33が形成され、各ブロック2は、下側ブロック22の底部突部23の先端と上側ブロック22の先端凹部33の天井を接触させるとともに、中央凹部22の側面と中央突部32の側面の間に弾性部材3A・3Bを介挿した状態で積層され、中央突部32の側面と弾性部材3A・3Bの間には隙間が形成される。【選択図】 図2
