The invention relates to the technical field of building structural members, and discloses a sliding type bearing-vibration/shock reduction dual-function combination column which comprises a hollow interlayer concrete filled steel tube outer column and a solid concrete filled steel tube inner column which are arranged in a central symmetry mode. A plurality of transversely connected springs and dampers are arranged between the outer column and the inner column in the height direction; the top and the bottom of the inner column are each provided with a sliding device. The outer column and the inner column form a whole by arranging a connecting steel plate at the top and the bottom of the outer column respectively.
