INSTALLATION STRUCTURE FOR ROTARY MASS DAMPER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure for a rotary mass damper that enables a rotary mass damper to be used readily in combination with a viscous attenuation element, at the same time facilitating installation of the rotary mass damper to a structure.SOLUTION: An installation structure for a rotary mass damper includes: an outer wall having a slit-form storage chamber into which a viscous fluid is injected, and being fixed on a lower beam; an inner wall inserted into the storage chamber of the outer wall and constituting a vibration controlling wall together with the outer wall, and being held movably with respect to an upper beam; and a rotary mass damper having an additional weight, provided between the upper beam and the inner wall, and converting a relative displacement between the upper beam and the inner wall into rotary motion of the additional weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】回転マスダンパを粘性系減衰要素と容易に組み合わせて使用することが可能であり、しかも構造物に対する回転マスダンパの設置を容易なものにすることが可能な回転マスダンパの設置構造を提供する。【解決手段】粘性流体が注入されたスリット状の収容室を有すると共に下部梁に固定された外壁と、前記外壁の収容室内に挿入されて当該外壁と相まって制振壁を構成すると共に上部梁に対して移動自在に保持された内壁と、付加錘を有すると共に前記上部梁と前記内壁との間に設けられ、前記上部梁と前記内壁との間の相対変位を前記付加錘の回転運動に変換する回転マスダンパと、を備えている。【選択図】 図1
