PILE GUIDE AND PILE INSTALLATION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile guide and a pile installation method, which reduce labor for installing the pile guide on a water bottom ground while maintaining pile driving accuracy into the water bottom ground.SOLUTION: A guide pile 2 of a pile guide 1A is driven into a water bottom ground G. A pile is driven into the water bottom ground G while having the pile guided by a guide frame 6a provided on an end 5 of a guide arm 3a having the other end 4 fitted on the guide pile 2. Then, the next pile is driven into the water bottom ground G while having the next pile guided by the guide frame 6a provided on the end 5 of the guide arm 3a, after rotating the end 5 of the guide arm 3a around the guide pile 2 using the guide frame 6a as a central axis. There is no need to drive the pile guide made of an H-steel or other materials into the water bottom ground G for each time that the pile is driven into the water bottom ground G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
