PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for a vehicle opening/closing body that further reduces strength required for preventing fall-off of a plurality of cables.SOLUTION: An operation device for a vehicle opening/closing body includes a vertical wall part 23, the vertical wall part 23 having a plurality of first holding grooves 24 formed to line up in a direction, the first holding groove 24 opening in a direction of erection of the vertical wall part and having cables C1, C2 inserted in a communicating direction. The operation device further includes: a base plate 20 having a support-side engaging claw 26 protruded in a plate thickness direction between the adjacent first holding grooves 24; and a cover 30 having a shaft part pivotally supported on the vertical wall part 23 around an axial line extending in the plate thickness direction, a connection wall part 32 (arm part) extending from the shaft part similarly with the vertical wall part 23 and covering an opening of the plurality of first holding grooves 24, and a cover-side engaging part 35 protruded on a side wall part 31 (arm part) in the plate thickness direction and having the support-side engaging claw 26 engaged thereon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
