PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall joint structure and an exterior wall joint construction method, which can reduce a member cost and the number of man-hours for mounting on a job site.SOLUTION: An exterior wall joint structure 100 includes: a spacer 30 which is arranged in the state of being inserted between exterior wall edges 11 and 11 of a pair of exterior wall panels 10 and 10; a plurality of pairs of fixing members 40 and 40 which range from the side of the exterior wall edge 11 of the one exterior wall panel 10 to the other exterior wall panel 10 through the spacer 30, which are arranged obliquely with respect to the exterior wall panels 10 and 10 in such a manner as to cross each other, and which fix the pair of exterior wall panels 10 and 10; and a large-diameter part 21, the inside diameter of which is larger than an outside diameter of a head 42 of the fixing member 40, in which the head 42 is arranged, and which is filled with a filler 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
