PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat engaging device capable of suitably maintaining an engaging function by enhancing rigidity of the vehicular seat engaging device.SOLUTION: A latch device L is configured to engage a striker fitted to a vehicle interior wall. The latch device L comprises: an outer main body 2 fitted to a vehicular seat and having an opening part 2a where the striker is housed; and a hook 3 fitted rotatably to the outer main body 2, provided adjacently to the opening part 2a, and engaging the striker housed in the opening part 2a. At a part of a peripheral edge 2b of the opening part 2a of the outer main body 2, a flange 2c is formed which projects toward the hook 3, and the part of the outer main body 2 is sectioned in a channel shape including the flange 2c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
