PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement machine that has a simple structure and capable of efficiently and safely cleaning the surfaces of a hollow rod and an excavation head across a wide range.SOLUTION: A ground improvement machine lowers, along a leader, a hollow rod 26 having an excavation head 30 mounted on its tip while rotationally driving the hollow rod with a rotary driving device; supplies ground improvement agent via the hollow rod 26; and carries out a ground improvement by mixing sediment excavated by a drilling blade 27 of the excavation head 30 and the ground improvement agent using a first agitating blade 28 and a second agitating blade 29 of the excavation head 30. The lower portion of the leader is provided with a run-out preventing device 23 retaining the hollow rod 26 rotatably and vertically movably, and the lower portion of the run-out preventing device 23 is provided with a washing nozzle 40 that spouts washing water onto the hollow rod 26 and the excavation head 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】簡易な構造でありながら、中空ロッド及び掘削ヘッドの表面を広範囲に亘って、効率よく、安全に洗浄できる地盤改良機を提供する。【解決手段】先端に掘削ヘッド３０を装着した中空ロッド２６を回転駆動装置で回転駆動しながらリーダに沿って下降させるとともに、中空ロッド２６を介して地盤改良剤を供給し、掘削ヘッド３０の掘削刃２７で掘削した土砂と地盤改良剤とを掘削ヘッド３０の第１撹拌翼２８と第２撹拌翼２９とで混合して地盤改良を行う地盤改良機において、前記リーダの下部に、前記中空ロッド２６を回転可能かつ上下動可能に保持する振止装置２３を設け、該振止装置２３の下部に、中空ロッド２６及び掘削ヘッド３０に対して洗浄水を噴射する洗浄ノズル４０を設ける。【選択図】図８
