PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control unit with which it is easy for a user to remember a foot operation for causing a vehicle to perform a specified operation.SOLUTION: An electronic control device 11 of a vehicle 1 detects a defined foot operation of a user who is near the vehicle 1 and performs an opening operation of a back door 3 of the vehicle 1 via drive of an actuator 2 when that detection is carried out. The electronic control device 11 serves as a detector that detects a user's foot and a user's foot operation using sensors 6 and 7. When the above defined foot operation cannot be detected in a condition where the user's foot has been detected, the electronic control device notifies the user that the foot operation is incompatible by lighting a high mount stop lamp 4. The user can be informed that a manner of the foot operation was inappropriate and can again carry out the above defined foot operation for the opening operation of the back door 3 by changing a manner of a foot operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車両の規定動作を行わせるための足の動作をユーザーが覚えやすい車両の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両１の電子制御装置１１は、車両１の近くにいるユーザーの定められた足の動作を検出し、その検出が行われたときにアクチュエータ２の駆動を通じて車両１のバックドア３を開き動作させる。電子制御装置１１は、ユーザーの足及びその足の動作をセンサ６，７を用いて検出する検出部としての役割を担い、ユーザーの足を検出した状態のもとで上記定められた足の動作を検出できないとき、ユーザーに対し足の動作が不適合であることをハイマウントストップランプ４の点灯を通じて報知する。ユーザーは、こうした報知に基づき、足の動作の仕方が悪かったことを知ることができ、足の動作の仕方を変えてバックドア３を開き動作させるための上記定められた足の動作を再度行うことができる。【選択図】図１
