VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT
To ensure convenience for a user and reduce power consumption of a vehicle control unit.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system 101 comprises: a vehicle control unit 10 that is mounted on a vehicle 1; and an electronic key 20 and a smartphone 30 that are carried by a user of the vehicle 1 and wirelessly communicate with the vehicle control unit 10. When two-way communication with the electronic key 20 is established, and authentication of the electronic key 20 is successful, the vehicle control unit 10 executes reservation control for the vehicle 1. The vehicle control unit 10 includes a first searching unit 11a that searches for the electronic key 20 by performing polling of an LF signal, and a second searching unit 11b that searches for the smartphone 30 by performing polling of a BLE signal; when searching for the electronic key 20 with the first searching unit 11a and searching for the smartphone 30 with the second searching unit 11b, the vehicle control unit performs polling of the LF signal for a long period before the establishment of the two-way communication with the smartphone 30, and performs polling of the LF signal for a short period after the establishment of the two-way communication with the smartphone 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
