PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash and a sash installation method which can suppress deterioration of workability in installation.SOLUTION: A sash 1 includes a frame body 6 formed by combining an intermediate rail (an upper rail 2u, a bottom rail 2d) and a longitudinal stile 4. An intermediate rail narrow width portion 20 provided in the intermediate rail and having a width W1 as viewed from the longitudinal direction smaller than a width W2 of a head jamb groove portion 8R and a width W3 of a sill groove portion 10R is arranged closer to a head jamb 8 and a sill 10 than an intermediate rail wide width portion 30. A longitudinal stile narrow width portion 40 provided in the longitudinal stile 4 and having a width W7 as viewed from the longitudinal direction smaller than the width W2 and the width W3 overlaps a part of the intermediate rail narrow width portion 20 as viewed from the longitudinal direction and protrudes from the intermediate rail narrow width portion 20 as viewed from the longitudinal direction. At least a part of a longitudinal stile wide width portion 50 provided in the longitudinal stile 4 and having a width W8 as viewed from the longitudinal direction larger than the width W7 overlaps the intermediate rail wide width portion 30 when viewed from the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】設置における施工性の低下を抑制することが可能な、障子及び障子の設置方法を提供する。【解決手段】横框（上框２ｕ、下框２ｄ）と縦框４を組み合わせて形成された枠体６を備える障子１であり、横框が備え、長手方向から見た幅Ｗ１が鴨居溝部８Ｒの幅Ｗ２及び敷居溝部１０Ｒの幅Ｗ３よりも小さい横框小幅部２０が、横框大幅部３０よりも鴨居８及び敷居１０へ近い位置に配置され、縦框４が備え、長手方向から見た幅Ｗ７が幅Ｗ２及び幅Ｗ３よりも小さい縦框小幅部４０が、長手方向から見て横框小幅部２０の一部と重なり、且つ長手方向から見て横框小幅部２０よりも突出し、縦框４が備え、長手方向から見た幅Ｗ８が幅Ｗ７よりも大きい縦框大幅部５０の少なくとも一部は、長手方向から見て横框大幅部３０と重なる。【選択図】図１
