PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a connection of a lower piece to an upper piece.SOLUTION: A temporary fastening jig (100) for temporarily fastening a lower piece of pieces mutually assembled in a vertical direction to an upper piece has a main body part (1) inserted through a hole formed in a flange of a piece in contact with each other, and a head part (4) connected to the main body part (1) and abutting against a flange of the upper piece. The main body part (1) has an engaging member (13) which is movable forward and backward with respect to an outer peripheral surface (1b) of the main body part (1) and projects outwardly from the hole when advancing, and an adjustment part (6) for adjusting the distance (d) between the head part (4) and the engaging member (13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
