APPARATUS FOR CUTTING EXISTING CONCRETE FLOOR SLAB
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cutting an existing concrete floor slab, which enables concrete and a displacement stopper on an upper flange of an existing main girder to be concurrently cut in a direction almost parallel to a top surface of the upper flange of the existing main girder by using a wire saw, while minimizing damage to the existing main girder.SOLUTION: An apparatus for cutting an existing concrete floor slab includes an endless wire saw 30, and a guide member 40 for guiding the vicinity of a top surface of an upper flange 104A of an existing main girder 104, above which the existing concrete floor slab is arranged, so that the wire saw 30 can advance in a direction almost parallel to the top surface of the upper flange 104A while keeping a predetermined distance above the top surface of the upper flange 104A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
