PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system that can cause some of vehicle functions to be available if necessary which are otherwise set not to be available.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system includes a mobile device having electronic lock information of a vehicle 2 and a vehicle side control unit mounted on the vehicle to conduct a communication with the mobile device, the mobile device or the vehicle side control unit having a function of communicating with a communication terminal of an authorized user of the vehicle, the vehicle side control unit being made up of a first determining unit for determining whether an operation performed on the vehicle is a specific operation requiring permission of the authorized user, a second determining unit for determining whether or not the mobile device is within a specific communicable range around the vehicle, and a third determining unit for determining whether a short-range wireless communication according to the first communication standard is established between the mobile device and the communication terminal or a short-range wireless communication based on the first communication standard is established between the vehicle side control unit and the communication terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車両の機能のうちの一部の機能が利用できないように設定された状態で、利用できないように設定された機能を必要に応じて利用可能にすることができる、車両制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両2の電子錠情報を有する携帯機と、車両に搭載され、携帯機と通信を行う車両側制御部とを含み、携帯機又は車両側制御部は、車両の正規の利用者の通信端末機と通信する機能を有し、車両側制御部は、車両に対して行われる操作が前記正規の利用者の許可が必要な特定操作であるかどうかを判定する第1判定部と、携帯機が車両の周辺の通信可能な所定範囲内にあるかどうかを判定する第2判定部と、携帯機と通信端末機との間で第1通信規格での近距離無線通信が成立しているかどうか、又は、前記車両側制御部と前記通信端末機との間で第1通信規格での近距離無線通信が成立しているかどうかを判定する第3判定部とによって構成した。【選択図】図1
