PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb filter which prevents leakage of gas from a clearance between a can and a filter in using.SOLUTION: A honeycomb filter 100 includes: a porous honeycomb structure 120 having a plurality of flow channels 110; and a plurality of sealing parts 130 which close one ends of some flow channels 110a out of the plurality of flow channels 110, and other ends of the remaining flow channels 110b out of the plurality of flow channels 110. Porosity of the porous honeycomb structure 120 is 55-70%. The porous honeycomb structure 120 contains cordierite as a main component. An average thermal expansion coefficient of the porous honeycomb structure 120 at 40-800°C is 1.4×10to 2.1×10/K.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】使用時に缶とフィルタとの隙間からガスが漏れにくいハニカムフィルタを提供する。【解決手段】ハニカムフィルタ100は、複数の流路110を有する多孔質ハニカム構造体120と、複数の流路110の内の一部の流路110aの一端、及び、複数の流路110の内の残部の流路110bの他端を閉じる複数の封口部130と、を備える。そして、多孔質ハニカム構造体120の気孔率が55〜70%であり、多孔質ハニカム構造体120はコージェライトを主成分として含み、多孔質ハニカム構造体120の40〜800℃の間の平均熱膨張係数は1.4×10−6〜2.1×10−6/Kである。【選択図】図1
