METHOD OF PRODUCING WATER-GRANULATED SLAG
To improve the operation rate of a process of producing water-granulated slag by highly efficiently recovering fine particles of water-granulated slag contained in circulation water together with coarse particles of water-granulated slag as a product to decrease the water-granulation of fine particles contained in the circulation water to prevent the abrasion of piping and equipment in a circulation system, and by concurrently decreasing the deposition of the fine particles in a circulation water tank to shorten a shut-down time of the equipment necessary for cleaning the tank.SOLUTION: A method of producing water-granulated slag, comprising a process of spraying molten blast-furnace slag with pressurized water (cooling water) in a route of introducing molten blast-furnace slag into a water-granulation tank via a water-granulation conduit to rapidly cool the molten slag, thereafter separating water-granulated slag from pressurized water by way of solid-liquid separation to extract and obtain water granulated slag, in which a crosslinking polymer coagulant is added into a processing route prior to the solid-liquid separation or into the pressurized water to blend the crosslinking polymer coagulant and the slag in a state of a turbulent flow of a flow velocity of 0.5 m/sec or faster so as to make the water-granulated slag, water, and the crosslinking polymer coagulant exist together.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】水砕スラグの製造工程において、循環水に含まれる微粒水砕スラグを高い効率で粗粒水砕スラグと共に製品として回収することで、循環水中に含有される微粒の水砕をより低減させ、循環系内の配管、装置の磨耗を防止し、同時に循環水槽への堆積を減少させて、槽内清掃のために設備を停止する時間を減らして操業率を向上させること。【解決手段】水砕樋を経て水砕槽内に溶融高炉スラグを導入する経路で、溶融高炉スラグに加圧水(冷却水)を吹き付けて急速冷却し、その後に、加圧水と固液分離して水砕スラグをとり出して水砕スラグを得る水砕スラグの製造方法において、固液分離するまでの処理経路や、加圧水中に架橋型高分子凝結剤を添加することで、架橋型高分子凝結剤を流速が0.5m/秒以上の乱流状態で混合させて、水砕スラグと水と架橋型高分子凝結剤とを共存させる構成の水砕スラグの製造方法。【選択図】なし
