To provide spray concrete having excellent initial strength, mid and long term strength, fast curing capability necessary for exhibiting excellent adhesion upon being sprayed, and a suitable fluidity.SOLUTION: The spray concrete comprises portland cement, fly ash, an accelerator of a calcium aluminate (CA) type, anhydrous gypsum, an aluminate and a carbonate of an alkali-metal, and aggregate, with the accelerator being (A) or (B). (A) is an accelerator of a CA (calcium aluminate) type comprising 80 to 96 mass% of amorphous CA with the molar ratio of CaO and AlOtherein being 1.8 to and 2.4, and 4 to 20 mass% of crystalline CA comprising 0.1 to 1.5 mass% of water with the molar ratio of CaO and AlOtherein being 1.0 to 1.4. (B) is an accelerator of a CA type comprising 80 to 96 mass% of amorphous CA with the molar ratio of CaO and AlOtherein being 1.8 to 2.4, 3 to 15 mass% of crystalline CA with the molar ratio of CaO and AlOtherein being 1.0 to 1.4, and 1 to 4 mass% of crystalline CA comprising 0.1 to 1.5 mass% of water with the molar ratio of CaO and AlOtherein being 1.0 to 1.4.SELECTED DRAWING: None
