To provide a transmitter capable of being compactly mounted on a USB female terminal.SOLUTION: The transmitter comprises: a body case 41; a USB male terminal 42 protruding forward from the body case 41; a transmission control part 43 disposed in the body case 41, which is configured to transmit an automatic transmission signal for causing a shutter device to automatically operate using an electric power from the USB male terminal 42; a power switch 44 for turning on/off the power supply from the USB male terminal 42 to a transmission control part 43; and a manual operation switch 45 for manually operating the shutter device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
