To provide a mechanical parking device that user can easily grasp an operational state thereof.SOLUTION: In a mechanical parking device, a pallet 18 on which a vehicle is mounted moves between a vehicle housing shelf and an entering floor 7. The mechanical parking device is provided at the outside periphery of an entrance of the entering floor 7, and includes an image display unit 21 that displays an image visible to a user waiting for receiving a vehicle in front of the entering floor 7 and a user waiting for delivering a vehicle in front of the entering floor 7, and a display instruction unit that makes the image display on the image display unit 21 according to the operational state of the mechanical parking device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
