SCREEN DEVICE AND CONTAMINANT SEPARATION SYSTEM
To cut and shred contaminants when the contaminants clog between coil spring wires.SOLUTION: A screen device 1 comprises: a coil spring 7 in which a wire 27 is spirally wound, to one of an inner side and an outer side of which a processed liquid W1 is introduced and to the other of inner and outer sides of which a penetration liquid PW separated from the processed liquid W1 is discharged; a drive unit 10 for performing telescopic motion of the coil spring 7; and a control unit for controlling the drive unit 10. The wire 27 has a first face which is a spiral cylindrical surface directed to one side, and a second face which is a spiral slant face which is directed to the other side and forms an acute angle between itself and the first face. The control unit has a drive part which so controls the drive unit 10 as to cut contaminants when the contaminants clog between the wires.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
