To enable communication processing of a lining material to be performed properly from the drain standing pipe side.SOLUTION: A renewal system of a drain pipe includes: a grinding unit 31 which removes closing film parts of expansion lining parts L1a which close drain branch pipes 6 from a side of a drain standing pipe 1 by grinding; a connection pipe unit 33 which supports the grinding unit 31 in the drain standing pipe 1 and is formed by connecting pipe-like members 81, 82; and a lifting unit 34 which is disposed at an upper pipe end part of the drain standing pipe 1, moves up or down the connection pipe unit 33 in an axial direction, and causes the grinding unit 31 to face the expansion lining part L1a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
