To provide a control method for a parking device in consideration of safety in a closed door state.SOLUTION: A control method of the parking device of the present invention includes: an unmanned confirmation processing S02 for requesting an unmanned confirmation in a getting-on and or off area 13 to a user in the closed state of an entrance door 17 and determining the presence and or absence of the unmanned confirmation in response to an input to an operation panel 16 by the user; a first authentication processing S03 for requesting the user for the first operation authentication after the unmanned confirmation of the getting-on and or off area is determined in the unmanned confirmation processing S02, and authenticating the user based on the first input information of the user; a second authentication processing S09, after the first authentication process, for requesting a second operation authentication to a user after opening door processing S04 opening an entrance door 17 and a door opening processing S04 to request the second input information to collate against the first input information and re-authenticating the user when determining that both are having a predetermined relationship; a closing process S10 for closing the entrance door 17 after the second authentication process S09.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
