To provide a parking device capable of safely lifting and lowering a pallet.SOLUTION: The parking device, which includes a plurality of parking areas in the vertical and horizontal directions, comprises a pallet on which a vehicle is placed, a traverse trolley which moves the pallet laterally in the horizontal direction, a first sensor which detects the traverse trolley moving laterally within the parking area in order to stop the traverse-moving traverse trolley within the parking area, and a second sensor which detects that the pallet or the traverse trolley is stopped at a set position within the parking area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
