To provide a method capable of driving a pipe smoothly and straight into the ground.SOLUTION: In a method for driving a pipe 1 having a tip bit 2 at a tip thereof into the ground, the pipe 1 is driven into the ground in a manner that inserts a driving rod 3 in the pipe 1 and vibrates the driving rod 3 back and forth so that a tip section thereof hits an inner face of the tip bit 2.
