BRAKING DEVICE
To provide a braking device capable of reducing braking force applied during low speed rotation while obtaining sufficient braking force at high speed rotation of a rotary body.SOLUTION: A braking device includes: a fixed body 12; a rotary body 14 rotatably provided relative to the fixed body 12; a conductive member 16 and a magnet 18 which are disposed to face each other in a rotational axis direction or a radial direction of the rotary body 14, and one of the conductive member 16 and the magnet 18 being rotatably provided integrally with the rotary body 14, and other of them being provided on the fixed body 12; and an interval adjusting mechanism 20 capable of adjusting an interval so that, as the rotational speed of the rotary body 14 increases, the interval between the conductive member 16 and the magnet 18 in an opposing direction decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
