BRAKING DEVICE
To provide a braking device that can efficiently absorb a tensile force (impact energy) without damaging a rope.SOLUTION: A braking device comprises a braking tool body 30 having a throttle hole 31 penetrating along the action direction of a tensile force, and a braking rod 40 slidably inserted into the throttle hole 31 of the braking tool body 30. The sliding friction resistance between the brake tool body 30 and the brake rod 40 and the throttle deformation resistance of the brake rod are used together to absorb the tensile forces in opposite directions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
