METHOD FOR PRODUCING CERAMIC-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIAL MEMBER AND MOLD DEVICE FOR PRODUCING CERAMIC-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIAL MEMBER
To provide a method of easily and inexpensively producing a ceramic-based composite material member having excellent dimensional accuracy and shape accuracy, and a mold device suitable for its enforcement.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a ceramic-based composite material member comprising: a slurry preparation step of preparing an oxide-based ceramic powder slurry; an impregnation step of forming an impregnated sheet by impregnating an inorganic fiber sheet with the slurry; a press step of arranging the impregnated sheet between a first mold and a second mold facing each other, sandwiching a spacer at a position where the impregnated sheet is not positioned therebetween, tightening the first mold and the second mold by a first fastener in such a manner that the first mold and the second mold are made close along the facing direction, and applying pressure to the impregnated sheet; a drying step of sandwiching a spacer with a thickness different from that of the spacer, instead of the spacer, at a position where the impregnated sheet is not positioned between the first mold and the second mold, tightening the first mold and the second mold by the first fastener in such a manner that the first mold and the second mold are made close along the facing direction, and heating and drying the impregnated sheet; and a firing step of firing the sheet after drying.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】寸法精度、形状精度が優れたセラミック基複合材料部材を簡単かつ安価に製造し得る方法及びその実施に適した金型装置を提供する。【解決手段】酸化物系セラミック粉末スラリーを調製するスラリー調整工程と、スラリーを無機繊維シートに含浸させて含浸シートを形成する含浸工程と、含浸シートを対向する第1金型と第2金型との間に配置し、その間の含浸シートが位置しない箇所にスペーサを挟んで第1締結具により第1金型と第2金型を対向方向に沿って近接するように締め付け、含浸シートに圧力を加えるプレス工程と、前記スペーサに代えて前記スペーサと厚みが異なるスペーサを第1金型と第2金型との間の含浸シートが位置しない箇所に挟で、第1締結具により第1金型と第2金型を対向方向に沿って近接するように締め付け、含浸シートを加熱して乾燥させる乾燥工程と、乾燥後のシートを焼成する焼成工程とを有してなる。【選択図】図1
