    To enable a main rope for holding a life rope or the like to readily be installed to a roof, in a main rope holding tool used for preventing a worker from falling from a roof, and a main rope installation method.SOLUTION: A main rope holding tool 1 can install a main rope 5 to a roof 4 readily by devising a shape of the main rope holding tool for holding the main rope 5. The main rope holding tool 1 includes: a part to be held which is used for the roof 4 formed by a roof material 40 fixed by a fixture 50 and held to the fixture 50; and a holding part for holding the main rope 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】屋根における作業者の転落防止を目的として用いられる親綱保持具及び親綱設置方法に関するもので、命綱等を保持するための親綱を簡単に屋根に設置可能にする。【解決手段】親綱５を保持する親綱保持具１の形状を工夫して、親綱５を屋根４に簡単に設置できるようにしたもので、親綱保持具１は、固定具５０で固定された屋根材４０によって形成された屋根４に用いられ、前記固定具５０に保持される被保持部と、親綱５を保持する保持部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
