To provide a novel mortar composition and mortar comprising a predefined value or more of unit volume mass and having adequate fluidity.SOLUTION: A mortar composition includes cement, an expansive admixture, and an aggregate having a heavy weight aggregate with its density of 3.0 g/cmor more and a fine aggregate with its density less than 3.0 g/cm, in which, in the aggregate, the ratio of particles with a particle diameter of 0.15 mm or less is 21 to 38 mass% based on the aggregate total mass. In the mortar composition, it is preferable that the ratio of particles with a particle diameter of over 0.15 mm and 0.6 mm or less is 2 to 70 mass% and the ratio of particles with a particle diameter of over 0.6 mm and 1.2 mm or less is 9 to 77 mass%, based on the aggregate total mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】一定以上の単位容積質量を備え、且つ、適切な流動性を有する新たなモルタル組成物及びモルタルを提供すること。【解決手段】セメントと、膨張材と、密度３．０ｇ／ｃｍ3以上である重量骨材及び密度３．０ｇ／ｃｍ3未満の細骨材を有する骨材とを含有し、骨材において、粒径が０．１５ｍｍ以下である粒子の割合が、骨材全質量に対し、２１〜３８質量％である、モルタル組成物。前記骨材全質量に対して、粒径が０．１５ｍｍ超０．６ｍｍ以下の粒子の割合が２〜７０質量％であり、粒径が０．６ｍｍ超１．２ｍｍ以下である粒子の割合が９〜７７質量％であることが好ましい、モルタル組成物。【選択図】なし
