To provide a mortar composition that enhances CO2 reduction effects through a reduction in cement content in a premix mortar, resulting in a mixed mortar featuring high fluidity and low heat build-up and exhibiting high strength development.SOLUTION: A mortar composition comprises: a binder composed of cement and two or more pozzolana materials including at least blast furnace slag fine powder; first aggregate with a particle size of 3 mm or less; and second aggregate with a particle size of more than 3 mm to 10 mm or less and a percentage of absolute volume of 50-80%. The mass percentage of the cement is 3-16 mass% relative to the mass of the mortar composition. The total mass percentage of the first aggregate and second aggregate is 60-80 mass% relative to the mass of the mortar composition.
