    To provide a method for producing a cement clinker, capable of sufficiently reducing the amount of carbon dioxide generated.SOLUTION: A method for producing a cement clinker includes the steps of: preparing a raw material for the cement clinker; supplying the raw material to a firing furnace; supplying carbon-containing thermal energy and ammonia to the firing furnace; and firing the raw material with combustion heat of the carbon-containing thermal energy and ammonia in the firing furnace to obtain the cement clinker.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
