To provide a fixed sash window that is excellent in workability and heat insulation.SOLUTION: A fixed sash window includes: a frame 1 made up of an upper frame 1a, a lower frame 1b, and right and left vertical frames; a panel 2 made of double-glazed glass with heat insulation; and a panel holding member 3. The panel holding member 3 has heat insulating properties, and is formed with locked portions 36 and 37 that are locked to the inner peripheral side of the frame 1 and an outer peripheral side depth surface portion. A locking portion 13 is formed on the frame 1 and is locked with the locked portions 36 and 37 to hold the panel 2, with the result that the outer peripheral side depth surface portion covers an outdoor side end portion of the frame 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
