CAISSON IMMERSION METHOD
To easily immerse a caisson while preventing excessive settlement of a caisson and influence to an original ground.SOLUTION: There is provided a caisson immersion method which immerses a pneumatic caisson 1 comprising a cutting edge portion 6 from a ground surface side to a predetermined depth while directing the cutting edge portion 6 downward and installs the pneumatic caisson. In the caisson immersion method, a frozen improvement body 21 is constructed in advance in at least a part of a ground under the cutting edge portion by a freezing treatment freezing at least a part of the ground under the cutting edge portion positioned under the cutting edge portion 6 in an immersion area of the pneumatic caisson 1, and then the pneumatic caisson is immersed and installed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ケーソンの過沈下及び原地盤への影響を防止しつつケーソンを容易に沈設する。【解決手段】刃口部6を備えるニューマチックケーソン1を、刃口部6を下方に向けて地盤の地表面側から所定深さまで沈下させて設置するケーソン沈設方法が提供される。前記ケーソン沈設方法では、ニューマチックケーソン1の沈下領域における刃口部6の下方に位置する刃口部下方地盤の少なくとも一部を凍結させる凍結処理により、刃口部下方地盤の少なくとも一部に凍結改良体21を予め構築した後に、ニューマチックケーソンを沈下させて設置する。【選択図】図1
