DIMMING FILM AND LAMINATED GLASS
To provide a dimming film that can effectively avoid reduction in the external appearance quality of a product and can be sufficiently stably driven even when the film is used as an intermediate material of a laminated glass and that can effectively avoid reduction in the transmittance and degradation in the aligning property of a liquid crystal so as to prevent visibility of diffracted light.SOLUTION: A laminated glass 1 has a dimming film 10 held between first and second sheet glasses 2, 3 via intermediate layers 4, 5, and has a curved shape. The dimming film includes a liquid crystal layer 14 held between first and second laminates 13, 12, and a spacer 24, in which the first and second laminates have flexible substrates 21A, 21B and electrodes 22A, 22B formed on the substrates, in which a transmissive state and a light-shielding state are switched by controlling alignment of liquid crystal molecules 14A driven by the electrodes. The spacer is a bead spacer having a diameter of 1 to 20 μm and has an occupancy rate of 0.1% or more and 10% or less, and at least one spacer is present within a 200 μm radius range from any point in a dimming region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】合わせガラスの中間材に利用する場合等においても、外観品位の低下を有効に回避して十分に安定に駆動することができ、また透過率の低下、液晶の配向性の低下を有効に回避して回折光が見て取られたりすることが無いようにする。【解決手段】合わせガラス1は、中間層4、5を介して第1及び第2の板ガラス2、3により調光フィルム10を挟持し、曲面形状を有し、調光フィルムは、第1及び第2の積層体13、12により挟持された液晶層14と、スペーサー24とを備え、第1及び第2の積層体は、可撓性を有する基材21A,Bと、基材に形成された電極22A,Bとを有し、電極による駆動により液晶分子14Aの配向を制御して透過状態と遮光状態とを切り替え、スペーサーは、直径1〜20μmのビーズスペーサーであり、占有率が0.1%以上10%以下であり、調光領域内の任意の点から半径200μmの範囲において少なくとも1つ存在する。【選択図】図1
