AUTOMATIC CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
To provide an automatic control system for a construction machine, the automatic control system inexpensively making it possible to grasp a three-dimensional shape of a work target.SOLUTION: An automatic control system 30 for a construction machine comprises: a revolving mechanism 13 for revolving a backhoe 10 in a direction horizontal to the ground G; a two-dimensional laser scanner 302 attached to the backhoe 10, the two-dimensional laser scanner performing a scan of laser light L in a direction vertical to the ground G to measure a distance to a measurement target T's part in a vertical direction; a surface shape calculation unit 404 for calculating three-dimensional data on a surface shape of the measurement target T by rotating the backhoe 10 using the revolving mechanism 13 and successively obtaining detected values of the two-dimensional laser scanner 302; and a driving control unit 410 for controlling a drive state of the backhoe 10 on the basis of a differential amount between the three-dimensional data on the present measurement target T and three-dimensional data on a target shape of the measurement target T.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
