To provide a home delivery box system capable of improving security.SOLUTION: A home delivery box system 10 includes: a storage unit 21 capable of storing a package; a door member 22 for opening and closing the storage unit 21; an electric lock device 30 for locking and unlocking the door member 22; a communication device 60 that enables communication with a portable terminal 70 using an SMS; and an arithmetic processing unit for performing authentication on the basis of whether or not a code input to a touch panel matches an unlocking code, and, on the basis of the establishment of the authentication, causing the electric lock device 30 to be unlocked. The arithmetic processing unit transmits an SMS message including the unlocking code to a phone number of the portable terminal stored in a storage unit by the communication device 60 when the package is stored in the storage unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
