To enable easy installation of a capturing body and reduce cost and time for construction.SOLUTION: A dam 1 having a water notch part 22 includes a capturing body 3 that faces at least the water notch part 22, provided on a wall surface 23 on the upstream side, captures an object flowing from the upstream, and allows flowing water to pass. The capturing body 3 has one end fixed to the wall surface 23 on the upstream side, and includes a plurality of column parts 31 each including a leg part 31a that is inclined toward the upstream side as going upward from the wall surface 23, and a standing part 31c that stands with an obtuse angle on the wall surface 23 side in the extending direction of the leg part 31a from the other end of the leg part 31a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
