To easily construct a capturing body in a non-transmission type dam within a short time.SOLUTION: A dam (1) having a drainage part (22) comprises a capturing part (3) that is provided in a wall part oppositely to at least the drainage part and captures an object flowing down from an upstream side to run water. The capturing part comprises a plurality of columns (31) each fixed at one end to the wall part and separated at the other end from the wall part to the upstream side, and a side fence (33) provided between one of the columns located at the end in the width direction of the drainage part and the wall part.
