To provide an earth retaining member and an earth retaining member installation method for facilitating installation workability and reducing construction costs.SOLUTION: A support pillar member 3 includes a pillar 31 that is a pipe-like member connected to a wall surface member 2, a plurality of piles 32 driven into the ground, and a coupling member 33 that couples the pillar 31 and the plurality of piles 32. The coupling member 33 is a member having a rectangular cross section, and at both ends in the longitudinal direction, pile fixing portions 35 for fixing the piles 32 are integrally provided on lateral side portions by welding or the like. In the pile fixing portion 35, in a state where an upper end of the pile 32 protrudes into the pile fixing portion 35, and in a state where a space between a hole portion of the pile fixing portion 35 and the pile 32 is sealed with a sealing agent such as silicone grease, the pile fixing portion 35 is filled with a fixing material such as mortar or concrete and solidified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】設置作業性を容易にし、施工費の低減を図った土留め部材および土留め部材の設置方法を提供する。【解決手段】支柱部材3は、壁面部材2と連結されるパイプ状部材である支柱31と、地中に打ち込まれる複数本の杭32と、支柱31と複数本の杭32とを結合する結合部材33とを含み、結合部材33は、断面矩形状の部材であり、長手方向の両端部で、短手方向側部に、それぞれ杭32を固定する杭固定部35を溶接などで一体に設け、杭固定部35には、杭固定部35内に杭32の上端部が突き出している状態で、杭固定部35の穴部と杭32との間を例えばシリコーングリースなどの封止剤で封止した状態で、杭固定部35内にモルタル、コンクリートなどの固定材を充填して固化させる。【選択図】図3
