To prevent brittle fracture at low cost.SOLUTION: A wood structure comprises: a wood wall having a wood structure member formed by laminating a plurality of first wood boards in a first direction so that the surfaces face each other, and a gap portion having a predetermined dimension in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction with respect to the wood structure member, the wood wall being constructed by laminating a plurality of second wood boards in the first direction so that the surfaces face each other; and a yield member with one end sandwiched between the adjacent first wood boards, the other end sandwiched between the adjacent second wood boards, and joined to the wood structure member and the wood wall across the gap portion. The yield member has a cross-sectional area when cut perpendicularly to the second direction at a certain position of the gap portion which is smaller than the cross-sectional area when the part sandwiched between the first wood boards and the part sandwiched between the second wood boards are cut perpendicular to the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
