RAIL BLOCK
To provide a rail block that can easily and reliably block a rail that has a restoring force to return to its original states when a gap between the rails is widened.SOLUTION: A rail block 1 comprises: a base part 11 fixed to a rail fastening device or a sleeper; and a block part 12 provided on the base part 11 and blocking a rail R with a gap from the head of the rail R. The block part 12 has a rail head contact part 12b that protrudes laterally toward the rail R direction from the base part 11 and makes contact with the rail R head part, and a rail rise amount restricting inclined part 12b that makes contact with the bottom of the rail R and restricts the rising of the rail R when the rail R is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
