DIMMER, DIMMER MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND DIMMER MANUFACTURING METHOD
To provide a dimmer and a dimmer management method which can reduce the visibility of a subject through a light-diffusing layer in a cloudy state.SOLUTION: The dimmer includes a light-diffusing sheet provided with a light-diffusing layer 11 constituted so as to be capable of switching between a first state that is a transparent state and a second state that is a cloudy state by switching the orientation of liquid crystal modules that corresponds to the presence of a drive voltage applied and a pair of transparent electrode layers 12 having the light-diffusing layer 11 sandwiched therebetween. The light-diffusing layer 11 is in the second state when the drive voltage is not applied, transmission image visibility conforming to JIS K7374:2007 where an optical comb width is set to 0.125 mm being the transmission image visibility of the light-diffusing sheet, and when the light-diffusing layer 11 is in the second state, the transmission image visibility of the light-diffusing sheet is 70% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】濁った状態の調光層を介した被写体の視認性を低下させることを可能とした調光装置、および、調光装置の管理方法を提供する。【解決手段】透明な状態である第1状態と、濁った状態である第2状態とを、駆動電圧の印加の有無に応じた液晶分子の配向の切り替わりで切り替え可能に構成された調光層11と、調光層11を挟む一対の透明電極層12とを備えた調光シートを備え、調光層11は、駆動電圧が印加されていないときに第2状態であり、JIS K 7374:2007に準拠した透過像鮮明度であって、光学くし目幅が0.125mmに設定されたときの透過像鮮明度が、調光シートの透過像鮮明度であり、調光層11が第2状態であるときに、調光シートの透過像鮮明度が70%以下である。【選択図】図1
