To provide a steering wheel device for a vehicle capable of preventing an operation failure caused by freezing, etc.SOLUTION: The steering wheel device comprises: a steering wheel body 3 having a projection 2 which holds an electronic component 1 and projects toward a rear face direction; and an operation member 4 that is externally fitted on the projection 2 from the rear face direction, and is connected to the steering wheel body 3 in a freely movable and operable manner from an initial position of a shallow fitting depth to an operation position of a deep fitting depth. A drain passage 5 that penetrates inside the projection 2 and vertically communicates therethrough is formed in the projection 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
