WALL TYPE DAMPER
To provide a wall type damper that incorporates a viscoelastic or similar material to dissipate vibration effects.SOLUTION: The wall type damper are interconnected to accommodate a pair of inner panels 101, a plurality of damping means 103, and a plurality of outer plates 104. The pair of inner panels 101 are vertically connected by a joint 102. A top cap 108 has a slit for accommodating the pair of inner panels 101. The plurality of damping means 103 are coupled to both sides of the pair of inner panels 101. The plurality of outer plates 104 are coupled to the plurality of damping means 103. A plurality of reinforcing members 106 are disposed on the surface of a pair of cover plates 105. The pair of inner panels 101, the joint 102, the plurality of damping means 103, the plurality of outer plates 104, and the pair of cover plates 105 have a plurality of cavities and are aligned with each other by connecting means passing through the plurality of cavities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1a
