OUTER HANDLE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE DOOR
To securely keep a handle lever in a state of being temporarily held at the operating position regarding an outer handle device for a vehicle door in which when a handle base with the handle lever being attached, which is interlocked with and connected to the connection arm of an outer handle, is installed on a vehicle door, the handle lever cannot be inserted into the opening of the vehicle door when being in the non-operating position and is allowed to be inserted to the opening when being in the operating position.SOLUTION: A handle base 25 is provided with a pair of lever support parts 38, 39 into which a support shaft 37A inserted into a handle lever 36 is inserted and that supports the support shaft 37A. The support shaft 37A is inserted into the handle lever 36 and lever support parts 38, 39 so as to be able to switch between the temporary retention state where the handle lever 36 is held in the operating position and the normal support state where the handle lever 36 is supported rotatably between the non-operating and operating positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】アウトハンドルの連結腕部に対して連動、連結状態にあるハンドルレバーが組み付けられたハンドルベースの車両用ドアへの組み付け時に、車両用ドアの開口部へのハンドルレバーの挿通が非作動位置にあるときには不能とするものの作動位置にあるときには許容されるようにした車両用ドアのアウトハンドル装置において、ハンドルレバーを作動位置で仮保持する状態を確実に維持する。【解決手段】ハンドルベース２５に、ハンドルレバー３６に挿通される支軸３７Ａを挿通、支持する一対のレバー支持部３８，３９が設けられ、支軸３７Ａが、ハンドルレバー３６を作動位置に保持する仮保持状態と、ハンドルレバー３６を非作動位置および作動位置間で回動可能に支持する通常支持状態とを切替えることを可能として、ハンドルレバー３６およびレバー支持部３８，３９に挿通される。【選択図】 図５
